The double-horned god Silvanus (with iconography of Pan) holds a panpipe or syrinx in his right hand and a bow in his left.
Over his elbow (ancon) he has draped most certainly a shawl or cloth. A quadruped seems to bit him in his thigh.

The "Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology" exhibit also included real artifacts excavated in regions visited by the ficitional Indiana Jones in the feature film series. These artifacts were recovered from expeditions by researchers from the University of Pennsylvania who provided them to National Geographic for the exhibition.
